A few weekends ago, I had the pleasure of celebrating the launch of Crate and Kids at the Toronto Interior Design Show. And holy moly, was I ever blown away.
In response to high demand (because us Canadians always want what they have south of the border!), and to provide more for the Crate and Barrel Canadian audience, the esteemed baby & kids home furnishing brand is now available online at crateandbarrel.ca woot woot! And, they will be rolling out in 5 Crate and Barrel stores in early spring 2020. Hello Calgary, Edmonton, Mississauga, Toronto and Vancouver.

Without naming any brands, we all know there is only one or two national retailers to go to for stylish kids furniture. Aside from style, I know I am looking for safety and quality and after spending much time with the pieces at IDS and literally hours on the website I am happy to report that I believe the brand combines modern design, functionality, quality and safety into their furniture and accessories.
The Crate and Kids Spring 2020 expression is modern and unexpected, with a playful aesthetic. The Spring collection includes multifunctional and durable pieces that are versatile enough to live anywhere in the home. These clean and modern designs are for little ones and grown-ups alike– crafted to grow with families through the years.

The collection features a balance of soft color palettes that soothe, deep rich tones and pops of color, as well as a mix of textures including soft velvet and natural materials that instantly warm a room.
I was so excited to pull some of my fave pieces below (which was so hard as there are so many items I love!) but wanted to give you some of my tops pics organized different stages of childhood. Please note, many of the pieces would suit all ages I just grouped a few for different looks:)
